Delete your Cap-Tac-Toe account
Cap-Tac-Toe by Shark Games. You can delete your account and its data at any time.
In the game (immediate)
- Open Cap-Tac-Toe and go to Settings.
- In Profile, tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete forever.
The account is deleted right away. The game then starts a new, empty guest account on that device.
Without the game (by email)
- Write to support@sharkgames.dev with the subject “Cap-Tac-Toe: delete my account”.
- Include your nickname. If your account is linked to Google or Apple, send the email from that account's address — it helps us confirm the account is yours.
- If we can't confirm it from the email, we will ask for a simple check (for example, to set your nickname to a code we send you).
We delete the account within 30 days of the request (usually much sooner) and reply when it is done.
Delete some data, keep the account
You don't have to delete the whole account to remove some of your data:
- In the game: change your nickname, remove friends, decline friend requests and unblock players on the Friends screen.
- By email: write to support@sharkgames.dev with your nickname and what to delete — for example, unlinking your Google or Apple account removes its ID, email address, name and picture link from our server while the game account stays. We do it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted with the account
- Your account and nickname (the nickname becomes free for others).
- Rating, leaderboard entry and match statistics.
- Friends, friend requests and blocks.
- Linked sign-ins: device ID, Google or Apple account, email and password.
- Reports other players made about you.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: database backups are kept for 14 days, so your data disappears from them within 14 days of deletion.
- Reports you filed about other players may be kept for moderation; they then refer to a deleted account.
- Server logs may contain your account ID for a short time until they are rotated.
Settings stored on your device (language, volume) are removed when you uninstall the game.
